Description: Based on a story by Gertrude Berg and James Yaffe. This second triumph by Gertrude Berg portrays a matriarch who fearlessly takes on all the problems of the neighborhood, in addition to those of her husband and her last unmarried daughter. Now, after all these years, the husband and daughter stiffen their backs and decide to have things their own way for once. He wants to sell the house and retire to Florida and she decides that maybe she won't marry her prim fiance but an unemployed old love instead. After a dizzy scene with a psychiatrist, Miss Berg emerges with all the answers to the problems of the world and her home.
